You can contact us directly for information or a booking or go through VRBO.com or their sister sites (see below). VRBO offers you fraud protection but at a fee.

The process is fully transparent for us, so the choice is yours. We offer payments through:

  • The Paypal system, which does accept all major credit cards, including American Express. If you prefer this method, we’ll send you an invoice through the Paypal system. Unfortunately, Paypal charges high processing fees. In total for us 7 %, so we need to add this to the rental fees.
  • Direct transfer to our bank in The Netherlands. No additional costs. If you prefer this method we can quote you the rental fees in Euros.
  • Wire in USD to our account with WISE. Also no extra costs.

Booking through VRBO websites

We also advertise our condo with VRBO. In different countries, they use different websites. The content of the ads is the same.
These sites accept credit card payments but they ask for an additional booking fee for their services. These fees will not be charged to your credit card until we have confirmed the reservation to the Agent. VRBO is a reliable agent in that they will only transfer the rental fees to us AFTER you have checked in. This is your protection against fraud.

Whatever booking method you prefer, all payments of the rental fees need to be made through one of the above methods.
We have no preference for the method of payment. The choice is yours.

If you have any questions about the property, the environment, or whatever, please contact us.

After you have decided that you want to stay with us, we will send you the Rental Agreement. The reservation is secured after receipt of the down payment, i.e. 50% of the total rental fees. By making the down payment you confirm that you agree with the conditions of this rental agreement. The final payment of the remaining part is due one month before check-in.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations are accepted up to one month before check-in. In that case, we refund 50% of the payments made. Cancellations after this date are not accepted and no refund is made unless we have agreed otherwise. It may not be a bad idea to take travel insurance to cover these risks.

Unexpected events
In case the apartment would have become inhabitable, e.g., due to hurricane damage, we will try, after consultation with you, to find alternative accommodation. If this appears not to be possible we will refund all payments. If such a situation develops during your stay, we will make a refund pro rata.
In case if due to an “Act of God”, e.g., a hurricane, you would have to extend your stay, we will offer the apartment at a discount of 20 %, under the condition that the apartment is available.
